As a digital content producer, Spencer writes local news articles, edits and manages website content, and runs social media channels for FOX 13 News.
He started working at FOX 13 after graduating from Utah State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
He was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Logan, Utah. He graduated from Logan High, attended USU, served a two-year volunteer church mission in Scotland and Northern Ireland, then returned to Logan to finish school.
Spencer previously worked as a news writer and copy editor at The Utah Statesman and an intern news reporter at Deseret News. He has also studied and worked in marketing/public relations in local politics, academics and athletics.
Outside of work, Spencer is a skier, hiker, cyclist, casual sports fan, and a connoisseur of sitcoms and sketch comedy.
